A Look Back at Squelch’s First Year

Squelch emerged from stealth mode in May 2018 when it announced a Series A financing round of $8 million led by Shasta Ventures and Correlation Ventures. That same month, the team debuted the Squelch solution at TSIA’s Technology & Services World in San Diego — and promptly became the only first-time presenter in the event’s history to win the “Best in Show” award.

Since then, Squelch’s growth has continued at a breakneck pace, and the response we’ve received from customers, investors, industry leaders, and the press indicates we continue to be on the right track.

Customers

As the provider of a customer experience optimization solution, we perhaps know better than anyone just how important customers are. That’s why we’re thrilled to not only have more companies adopting our solution each month, but also to see such positive reactions once they do. Investors

In April of this year, we were proud to announce an additional $12 million in funding, bringing our total Series A round to $20 million. The investment was once again led by Shasta Ventures and Correlation Ventures, who were joined by Tenaya Capital.

Since our launch last May, we’ve gotten to know leaders all across the customer experience industry, from top-notch analyst firms and visionary organizations to best-in-class support and success platforms.

One of the ways we’ve partnered with these leaders is by sponsoring their CX conferences — including TSIA’s Technology & Services World, Gainsight Pulse, and the Zendesk Showcase series. We’ve also co-hosted webinars with the likes of TSIA and Customer Experience Update (CEU) that featured best practices from CX veterans such as Dave Hare and Kristina Evey. In addition, we’ve worked closely with Salesforce and Zendesk to develop native product integrations that improve the experience and productivity of front-line agents.
